Blake's 7, (shown in the titles as Blakes 7, with no apostrophe) was an English science fiction show that ran from 1978 to 1981. It tells the story of a band of escaped criminals and rebels who happen upon a derelict ship of incredible power, and the crew's subsequent conflict with a galaxy spanning Federation.

The title Blake's 7 comes from the leader's name, Roj Blake , and the number of crew on board, both human and artificial.

The series, although plagued by a low budget, is memorable as it featured strong characterisation, morally ambiguous characters and creative plot design.
