The Sci Fi Channel broadcasted a series of Battlestar Galactica "mini-sodes" during Flash Gordon leading up to the special broadcast of the two-hour season four premiere, Razor, on November 24, 2007. The mini-sodes were then packaged together with Razor on DVD and also be available for download. The mini-sodes focus on a young William Adama (played by Nico Cortez) during the first Cylon war. The actual plot focuses on his discovery of a Cylon weapon that will come back and haunt him and his crew during season 4. The mini-sodes were written by Michael Taylor and directed by Wayne Rose and Felix Alcala.
