[edit] Plot Summary

Caprica-Boomer's baby is born prematurely. Back on Caprica, Galactica-Sharon finally resurrects after being shot by Cally and refuses to integrate into Cylon society, leading D'Anna Biers to assign the Six ("Caprica-Six") that worked with Dr. Baltar to help her.

[edit] Notes

  • This episode had the highest Nielsen rating of the evening for Sci Fi Friday.

[edit] Arc Advancement

[edit] Happenings

[edit] Boomer's Baby

  • Boomer and Helo's baby is finally born.

[edit] Caprica-Six and Galactica-Boomer

  • After their resurrections, Caprica-Six and Galactica-Boomer are hailed as "heroes of the Cylon" for their part in carrying out the Cylons' plans to destroy humanity, a title neither of them particularly wants.

[edit] Characters

[edit] Caprica-Six

  • Caprica-Six resurrected nine months earlier after dying in the nuclear explosion that took out Dr. Gaius Baltar's house during the Cylons' nuclear attack on the Colonies.
  • The Cylons tell her that Baltar was killed, and she burns everything she owns that might remind her of him.
  • She is seeing Baltar in exactly the same way that Baltar sees her back in the fleet, in the form of a sarcastic persistent hallucination.
  • Caprica-Six still loves Baltar deeply.

[edit] Galactica-Boomer

  • Galactica-Boomer resurrected after being shot by Cally ten weeks earlier, but refused completely to reintegrate into Cylon society and instead moved back into her old pre-attack apartment on Caprica.
  • Galactica-Boomer is still having a lot of trouble coming to terms with the fact that she's a Cylon and betrayed all her friends on Galactica.
  • D'anna is seriously considering "boxing" Galactica-Boomer's memories because of her reluctance to rejoin Cylon society. "Boxing" a Cylon is essentially a euphemism for permanent death, being defined as uploading one's consciousness onto "cold storage".

[edit] Anders

  • Anders is still alive and working with the Resistance. They bomb a rebuilt café that the Cylons are using as a sort of home and command post, killing dozens of human-type Cylons ("skin-jobs" in Resistance slang) and trapping himself, Caprica-Six, Galactica-Boomer and a D'anna in the depths of the ruins of the destroyed building.
  • D'anna wants to kill him, but Six and Boomer decide they don't want him to die and let him escape. Six kills D'anna in the process.

[edit] Caprica-Boomer

  • Caprica-Boomer's baby is born in the sickbay of Galactica. Doctor Cottle delivers it.

[edit] Roslin

  • After the birth of Caprica-Boomer's baby, Roslin decides that they cannot trust Caprica-Boomer to raise the child and, unbeknownst to even her vice president, has the baby's death faked and allows the hybrid child to be adopted by a woman named Maya whose own child had recently died. Rather than tell Maya that her new adopted child was half-Cylon, Roslin claimed that the baby was the daughter of a Pegasus officer who had to remain anonymous "for political and religious reasons".
