Petty Officer Anastasia "Dee" Dualla manned the communications station in Galactica's CIC, making her the "voice" of the Galactica. When the fleet colonized New Caprica, Dualla married Lee Adama and moved to Pegasus to be close to him. She was promoted to Lieutenant and served as executive officer of the Pegasus until its destruction during the evacuation of New Caprica.

It is ultimately Dee who convinces Commander Adama to work towards bringing the Fleet back together, to heal the division sown by the removal of president Roslin from office.

- According to the caption in Dualla's interview with D'Anna Biers in the episode Final Cut, Dee is Colonial Fleet Reserve (i.e. Army Reserve) instead of regular Fleet.
